Summer Journal Pt.1
How to look HOT in the HEAT
Sorry I have not posted in a while, summer has gotten the best of me! I am so lazy and to quote Icona Pop "I don't care!"
I have decided to post some things to help you get through summer. This first post is going to be about hair. My hair can get crazy in the summer and I know I am not the only one. I figured that some suggestions from girl to girl could help anyone. While we all want nice, beautiful beach waves or perfectly straight hair that doesn't always happen.
What I want my hair to look like: What it actually looks like:
John Frida Frizz-Ease Sheer Solution is really known on the market as one of the best products on the market. Allure Magazine awarded it one of the best products in 2012 and best breakthrough in 2013. I personally have only used it a couple of times but, its great! I absolutely love thick headbands no matter the material. I use the dri-fit ones for working out and cotton headbands for washing my face and every day use. My favorite workout headbands are from Lululemon and any cotton thick headband is great!

For running I like to wear a hat or visor to shade my face but also to keep sweat from entering my eyes. I purchased a Lululemon hat at the Lulu outlet and I love it! The brim is super wide for extra protection. Bye bye UV rays. I also use a classic Nike visor too. I love how there is no wiring in them.
For hair ties I like the new hair ties with the thick elastic and the knot but also the classic ones too. I do not like hair ties with any metal pieces because they always get caught in my hair and I hate to tug them out.
Hope you enjoy my how to survive summer hair guide!
